Pecan Egg Tarts​

  • 1 cup pecan pieces​
  • 2 sheets puff pastry​
  • 3 eggs​
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract​
  • ½ cup milk​
  • ¼ cup maple syrup​


  • Preheat oven to 375F​
  • Use puff pastry as the base for your tart​
  • Layer the bottom of your tart with pecan pieces
  • Beat the eggs, vanilla extract, milk and maple syrup for your custard. Strain through a sieve. ​
  • Grate pecan halves into your custard for extra flavor​
  • Pour custard into your tarts​
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick can stand in your tart​
  • Top with pecans and enjoy!
